Vote in New Hampshire

It’s easy and convenient to vote now

And like most everything,

the earlier you get started, the better!

All eligible voters can vote now in 2020 by casting an absentee ballot in person at your clerk's office or by mail.

Voters can request, fill out, and return their absentee ballot in a single trip to their clerk’s office before Election Day.

Ballots are available, so you can VOTE NOW! Just go to your town or city clerk's office during their business hours.

Find your clerk's hours and info here >

Need to register? You can register at the same time!

Do I need an ID?  No.

You will be asked to show an ID, but an ID is not necessary to vote by absentee in person or drop off your own ballot.

Do I need an appointment?

Most towns don't ask voters to make appointments, but check your clerk's information here to find out. It also shows their hours, address & contact info!
