Registering to vote in Hanover, NH is designed to be done in-person before a designated election official.

There are several options for Dartmouth students to register to vote:

  • Attend an on-campus voter registration drive (only students approved to be on-campus are eligible to attend these drives).

  • Register at the Town Office (41 South Main Street), Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

While voter registration is an option on election day, Hanover highly recommends that you register to vote in advance. If you have a concern or issue with appearing in person for voter registration, please contact the Hanover Town Clerk at for more information.
